"Am I Wrong?"

So I have been dating this girl for 5 months now. Here is the deal:
- She was married for 2 years and is now divorced
- She got divorced because she had an affair with another man
- The man she had an affair with is one of the doctors she works for
- She has (since we started dating) ended it with the doctor
- This guy continues to pursue her, though she says she keeps telling him NO
- She tells me that he has offered her money to continue sleeping with him, has made numerous advances towards her, and continues to make sexual comments towards her
- Here is the kicker: she continues to see him for free medical treatment and for free prescriptions for meds

Soooo, I have asked her to STOP relying on him for things. I told her I think that the sooner he realizes she does not need him for ANYTHING the sooner he will leave her alone.

She tells me its harmless. That she is just using him and that she loves me and does not want anything to do with him ever again.

Every time I bring it up she tells me that I am the one who is insecure and that I should not be worried. I trust her but I want her to stop talking to him and using him and just deal with him in a business manner.

Am I Wrong?

I don't think you are wrong. In fact, I would feel the same way. I would tell her you know I am uncomfortable with this and you have no reason to put me down by saying I'm insecure. She needs to understand why you feel the way you do. I know that she knows why but understanding why is different. She should be on your side, put your feelings first, and not go to this doctor. Considering her affair and everything with this doctor you have every reason to feel the way you do.
