"Pursuing a degree out-of-state?"

I have lived in several places in the US, held different jobs, and I have finally decided on what I want to pursue in life. I took a long time and know for certainty what it is. Here's my decision: the degree I am pursuing is rare, and it is offered at one school in-state here and another program out-of-state. There is nothing holding me to where I live now, and I would pretty much have to relocate for either school. The out-of-state program has two degrees for what I would spend at the in-state school; but moving out-of-state seems like a repeat of my old tricks. Do I just go for it or stay put and build a prettier resume?
