If your so called friends can't accept you for who you are then you don't need them in your life no place. And you certainly don't need "friends" that lie to you. If they lie to you that means they can't be trusted. Can't trust them to protect your heart. So you have to so they can't break it. I am a mixed person, Ive had to experience racism from both sides so I know what it is. If they can't see past the color of your skin then they don't deserve to know you, to know your heart. Be proud of who you are. Don't hide from anyone because your beautiful and if they can't see it thats on them and nobe if your concern if they can't handle it. You do you, be bold and don't be ashamed. Because you'll find new friends that compliment who you are instead of trying to definewho you are when they don't even know you.

Skin color is not important and there is no reason to have to accept someone due to their skin color. You are a human and we all bleed, feel, and have needs like any other human being despite race, religion, sexual preferences, etc. Be proud of who you are and if your friends feel the need to lie to you they aren't true friends. You shouldn't feel insecure about your skin color because its not what makes you you. YOU and what makes you you. You're differences, strengths, weaknesses, hobbies, and everything else internal is what makes you YOU. :) Ps- You a very important person and your happiness is contagious.
