"bestfriends?"

sooo. here it goes. ive been best friends with this guy for about 5 years. we have been through everything and back with eachother and i care for him more than anyone in the entire world. we have always been WAY to over protective of eachother. everytime i would date a guy he would say that kids a loser dah dah dah and **** about him. of course i always listened and ended it. we would get in fights with eachother because he would think the guy i was dating was not good enough for me. and im talking to two different guys right now. i like them both alot. but when i think things through the only person i want to be with is my best friend. we understand eachother so much its insane. on second hand i would never want to ruin our friendship. he told me once that im the perfect girl for him but he would never want to ruin what we have. i dont know what he thinks. i dont know what im thinking. i just dont know what to DO. someone pleaseee help me.

Well, I would go for your best friend...If he has admitted to you before how much he thinks your the perfect girl for him then he obviously feels like you guys should be more than friends..I think you should take a chance, because if you are really good enough friends then if it doesn't work out then you guys will remain friends and will just have experienced another bump in the road together...but you never want to wonder what might have been..take chances life is too short!

Best friends ALWAYS make the best relationships. i'm now dating a best friend I had for over a year, and we both risked our great friendship, but it was so worth it. Trust me, you won't want to miss out on this guy.

aimee, you're 22. it's good to have friendships. but what better way to be in a serious relationship than with your best friend? if you guys both understand eachother that much, it won't ruin anything.
