"Out of town inlaws"

My inlaws live out of town, when they come in they want to stay w/me. I have a small 3 bedroom house and 2 young children (1 bathroom) they have other family who they could stay w/(sister or sister in law)who have plenty of room. They seem insulted that I tell them my house is too small w/1 bathroom. They are very good to my kids buy them so much. I feel bad but its very uncomfortable when they stay here, they usually come in for 4 days at a time but there has been times where its been a week or so. What should I do?! They keep giving me "subtle" hints about staying!!

i bet they're "subtle!" that really is alot of people in one house. if it were me, i'd just play dumb to the hints and not extend the invitation. i wouldn't be mean, and i'd spend as much time with them as possible. i just wouldn't ask them to stay with me.
