"calling names"

my boyfriend of 7 years likes to call me names, both in public and private situations. Things like cheap and easy, and his "bag". He did it during a lunch with his friends that I had just met. He laughs like it is such a good joke each time he does it, but it hurts alot. I am getting tired. Any good advice is much needed. I am 38 years old and I know that I do not deserve this.

Oh my goodness Linda! Sweetie, you do not deserve any of that bull sh*t. He's a jerk, I would tell him, hey this hurts and if he continues it he is so not worth your time. You are so much better than that f--king douche bag.

hey, Linda, to tell you the truth, he sounds like he is the cheap one....haahaa....i would talk to him in private about this and tell him how you feel. That's pretty low of him. If he chooses not to listen, the let him go... you'll get way more out of life if you have freedom

TELL HIM!! He should understand your feelings. If the problem continues after you tell him, you should give him ONE more chance. Sadly...if he still continues... i think you should too. Break up. You deserve more.

Wow that is so not exceptable at all. He seems very immature and disrespectful. You need to talk to him and let him know how that makes you feel and let him no it isnt ok and if he does it any more you wont be around any longer. Dont sell yourself short sweetie you deserve better and there are plenty of men out there who will give you the respect you deserve!
